Precious fell into the pool a few months ago and she tried to get out at the side of the pool. She couldn’t pull herself out but hung on until we got to her. For safety we are training both Buud and Precious to swim to the steps of the pool where they can easily walk out.
Robin, our daughter, has a dog, Mouse, who does it perfectly and likes to show off, so we invited him to help with the training.

Too cute. Next time we may have to leave a trail of treats heading to the stairs.

They also make life vests for dogs, I have one for Augie cause he likes to get in the water, like the shower, tub, and pools at the dog park, so I figured its only a matter of time before he tries to join me in the swimming pool. Several of my friends have them too, for their dogs when they go on the boat.

You know Dad. Buud & Precious have there own very special traits. They can’t help that they’re not good at swimming like Mouse. They were adopted…
Loved the video and seeing how well Buud and Precious are doing…I believe Mouse is an excellent teacher along with Sandy & Kenzie. Love to you all…Aunt Sandy
